tournament information:
there will be a prize, but not much of one. the winner will receive a suitable-for-homepage logo which denotes that you were the winner
each player will also receive a suitable-for-homepage logo which denotes that you were a participant
9 round, double elimination, standard ladder tournament
coordination via TEN, ICQ, and email.
preferred method of communication will be the TEN arena
if both players have ICQ, UINs will be exchanged
email is last resort, due to speed. however, it will be used in the meantime for mass mailings.
if you lose because of a bug, tough. that's the way it goes.
if you run across a bug in play, please record it for notifying microprose.
if you find a bug while playing that allows you an illegal advantage, you may not take that advantage past the point when the bug is discovered. doing so will disqualify you. obviously, this will be a judgement call; a ruling will be made by the tournament organizer and any available managuides. additional judgement may be secured from experienced players not involved in that match.
